Below are some of our most frequently asked questions.
If your question isn't on the list please give us a call, we're always happy to help.
What should I wear on the day?Whatever you feel comfortable in. Although we provide protective clothing we do recommend casual clothing.
Layers are great as you can take them off if you get warm during your activity and trainers or casual boots or shoes are the best footwear. We also recommend that you dress for the weather; if it's wet, waterproofs and a change of clothes would be good.
No matter how good the weather, please do not wear open toed-shoes or sandals.
If you're going quading, please bring or wear a pair of wellies, snow boots or walking boots.
What time should I arrive? You should have an arrival time on your booking form - this is the time your event manager will be expecting you. If you are running late, please don't panic, just give us a call so we know what's happening.
What happens on the day? Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive as everyone is normally eager to get started! You will have already completed our pre-registration form so please just sign in. Your team will receive a thorough safety briefing and instruction on the event and activity. If you have selected an arrival catering option this will be served before you go on to your first activity.

What about the weather?Ah the British weather! Who knows what it may throw at us, but despite this, Whilton Mill is open all year round.
However, safety is our number one priority so we may have to cancel an event if snow and ice prevent the activities from being safe or providing you with a great experience!
Other than that we're ready whatever the weather and dedicated to offering a fantastic event come rain or shine.
What else do I need to know?If you have valuables, phones etc. with you, we encourage you to leave them with your event manager. This will ensure that nothing gets lost or damaged whilst doing an activity.
What if my numbers attending changes? Please keep us informed, we need to know 7 days before your event due date to assist in our preparation and staffing requirements.
Do I need a driving Licence? No, you don’t need a driving licence to come go karting or use our Quad bikes. You also do not need a fire arms licence to book our clay pigeon shooting activity.
